Terms and Conditions


» Active students at the SMA/K equivalent level throughout Indonesia

» The competition is attended by students in teams with each team consisting of 3 students from the same school

» Pay the registration fee of IDR 60.000/team through the BNI account 1101369771 in the name of Herni Audiyana

Registration Mechanism


» Registration will be carried out online through the official website of Geosentric

» Create a team account by filling in all the data listed on the page completely and correctly

» Each team uploads a scanned student ID card as well as a screenshot of the proof of registration payment in .pdf/.jpg format

» The participant's account will be active a maximum of 3x24 hours after registering

» After registering, a registration number/username will be sent via registered email from participants that can be used to login to each team's accounts

Try Out Information


- Try Out will be held two times, on 11th September and 18th September 2022 simultaneously.

- Try Out will be carried out via the Geocentric website.

Geolympic is one of the events from Geosentric, which is one of the big events of the ITS Geomatics Engineering Department. The Geolympic is an academic olympiad that is participated by senior high school (SMA/K) students and the equivalent.

As a team

One team consists of 3 people.

Yes, all members of each team must come from the same school.

There are 3 rounds, namely The Elimination Round, The Semifinal Round, and The Final Round.

The Elimination and Semifinal Rounds will be held online through the official Geosentric website, the Zoom Meeting platform, and Google Meet. While the Final round will be held offline at the ITS Geomatics Engineering Department.

The fields of study that are worked on can’t be chosen. So, all available fields of study that are contested must be worked on.

Prospective participants can use other documents that prove that they are active students in the school. It can be in the form of a cover letter from the school, NISN card, high school report card bio, etc. New students can use a certificate or other document that proves the prospective participant has been accepted at the school.

You don't have to, but preferably using a laptop/PC. If participants don't have a laptop/PC, they can use a phone.

Kesan awal ikut kirainnya olim geografi ternyata pas diliat mapelnya ada fisika, kebumian, mat sains, sama geomatika dasar. Awalnya pengen nothing to lose pas ikut sama buat nyari pengalaman aja tapi pas liat first prize nya freepass jadi tertarik banget. Tahap-tahapnya beda sama olimpiade univ lain, paling susah mungkin semifinal karena dikejar waktu yang singkat dan soalnya tergolong susah. Tahap paling seru itu malah final karena studi kasus wilayah lewat peta dan dipresentasikan yang jujur seru banget. Intinya Geolympic itu olimpiade bergengsi untuk yang pengen keluar dari zona nyamannya di satu sub rumpun olimpiade. Sukses terus Geolympic kedepannya!!!

Juara 1 Geolympic 2021

Awalnya diberitahu teman tentang event geosentric. Terus coba ikut untuk menambah pengalaman. Awalnya nggak nyangka bisa masuk babak final, karena bidang yang diujikan beragam mulai dari fisika, matematika, kebumian, dan geografi. Akhirnya di babak final saya dibuat tertantang karena harus mempresentasikan analisis SDGS di pulau terluar di Indonesia. Overall, menurut saya acara geosentric seru banget! Soal-soalnya menantang. Ditambah kakak-kakak panitianya baik dan ramah. Apalagi hadiahnya ga kaleng kaleng, bisa dapat free pass masuk ITS. Sukses terus untuk geosentric kedepannya!
