Terms and Conditions


Participants in the active student competition of S1 / Undergraduate Program in all international universities (Southeast Asia).

The competition is a team with 1 team consisting of 2 students from the same college.

Registration Mechanism


- Registration is only open in Geosentric website

- One team must fill in their personal data according to what is on the registration form

- Participants will get a verification email from the committee after registering for COMPAS 2022

- Registration Fee IDR 80.000

- Participant must share the poster of COMPAS 2022 through Instagram stories and tag @geosentric.its and screen capture it as proof of registration, here's the link to access the COMPAS 2022 poster Link

Frequently Asked Questions

In the 2022 COMPAS competition, the participants will make a map and analise that map accordingly to the sub theme or study case that have been chosen.

In processing images or making maps, participants are not required to use a particular application or software. However, the image processing can be processed using Envi or ArcGIS software.

This competition is intended for active students who are currently running an undergraduate program.

For those participants who do not have the student identity card, the participant can replace it by including a Study Plan Form, Transcript, or anything that can show the identity of the participant clearly.

Geosentric Compas 2021, the unexpected, kata yang menggambarkan pengalaman aku ikut lomba ini. Sedikit cerita, niat awal tim aku untuk ikut lomba ini berawal dari keisengan dan modal nekat. Kami tidak memiliki persiapan apa-apa bahkan untuk nama tim-pun kami juga iseng menggunakan nama "Doa Ibu". Sebelum mengikuti lomba ini, kami juga belum memiliki pengalaman menulis jurnal sama sekali, terlebih lagi dalam bahasa inggris. Ternyata dari niat awal tersebut membuahkan hasil yang diluar ekspektasi kami. Lomba Compas ini menjadi wadah kami untuk belajar mengenai banyak hal, mulai dari menulis hingga cara mempresentasikan karya ilmiah. Nama tim kami yang terlihat seperti bercandaan ternyata makna dari nama tersebut membawa kami hingga menjadi Juara 1 Geosentric Compas 2021.
